We attended today a work meeting at the facilities of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) of Aqualia in Salamanca, which brings together all members of the consortium of companies and entities closely collaborating on the ambitious ECLOSION project, including CADE.
The objective of this meeting is to share progress in the development of the project, which aims to create new materials, technologies, and processes for the production, storage, and transportation of renewable and indigenous hydrogen and biomethane.
Part of the funding for this project is provided by CDTI with the support of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, and financing from the European Union through the Next Generation EU program. This call funds pre-competitive research projects in cooperation, led by companies, to achieve:
- Relevant research proposing solutions to cross-cutting and strategic challenges in society.
- Improvement of the knowledge base and technology that supports Spanish companies to compete.
- Stimulation of public-private cooperation.
