SCWG

Facilities

SCWG is not just a technology in development, it is an operational reality. Our current facilities allow us to validate, scale up, and demonstrate the performance of the process with multiple types of organic matter, under real-world conditions and with full control over efficiency.

Testing Platform

The Testing Platform turns a sample into a solution. It is the real-world laboratory where every SCWG project begins.

The SCWG Testing Platform is the starting point for adapting the process to each type of organic material. It enables full biomass characterization, evaluation of its behavior under real operating conditions, and adjustment of system parameters before moving on to validation at the DEMO plant.

This flexible and technical environment is ideal for conducting specific trials with samples provided by clients, research centers, or R&D projects.

01

Evaluation of the Physicochemical Behavior of Each Biomass:

  • Pumpability

  • Salt Formation

  • Risk of Obstruction (Fouling)

  • Density and Viscosity

02

Modular Pre-Treatment to Adapt Each Sample Before Testing

  • Filtration

  • Homogenization

  • Blending with Other Streams

03

Testing Objectives

  • Determine the technical feasibility of each organic stream

  • Obtain process data for customized system design

  • Minimize risks before scaling up to DEMO or industrial plant

  • Tailor the technology to the specific type of available feedstock

DEMO Plant

The SCWG DEMO plant represents the key step between feasibility testing and final industrial design. It is a real, operational, and automated facility capable of continuously processing up to 100 kg/h of wet biomass.

Its objective is to demonstrate that the SCWG process works under real conditions—with extended operation times, advanced parameter control, and stable production of renewable gases.

What do we validate at this stage?

    • Pre-industrial scale feasibility of your organic feedstock

    • Process stability under real operating conditions

    • Reaction times, automation, and quality control

    • Composition and energy yield of the generated gas

    • Technical and economic feasibility of scale-up

Direct Scalability

The DEMO plant is not an isolated model. It is a scaled-down replica of the final industrial solution.

  • Same reactors, same control system design

  • Modular architecture → expandable without redesign

  • Foundation for industrial designs from 500 kg/h to 3,000 kg/h

  • Results obtained here directly inform the final design—no assumptions required
